HOPE’s Annual Summer Music/Drama Camp Performance
After a whirlwind, two-week, summer Music/Drama Camp held at HOPE Church, more than 60, 3rd through 9th graders will be performing a production of Judge Julie Truly and the Case of the Holey Roof on Thursday, August 3, 7:00 p.m. at the church campus located at 700 Cooper Road in Voorhees.
In just two weeks’ time, participants will have learned their songs, their lines and their dance moves all while constructing their own stage sets. The only thing left is to share what they’ve learned with the community.
Order in the court! All rise for Her Honor, Judge Julie Truly, who will now hear The Case of the Holey Roof from the Gospel of Luke, chapter 5. Meet the Homeowner: he is pressing charges against the four friends. (They dug a hole in his roof – on purpose!) Meet our Defendants: “Four Famously Faithful Friends” who went over and above to bring their paralyzed friend to Jesus. The testimony will move you, the verdict will surprise you, and we will all learn how our LOVE IN ACTION can bring people right to the feet of our Savior
The performance is free and open to the public and nursery care is provided. All are welcome!
