How Can I Plug in?

MOPS is an all-volunteer organization, and we love help! Time spent working together on projects for others or for themselves is a great way for mothers of preschoolers to have a sense of accomplishment and also to build community by working together.

At MOPS everyone has a role, and members are encouraged to join a committee that fits their interests. This helps our MOPS group be successful in our main goals of 1) making everyone feel welcome, safe, and included, 2) growing to include as many moms as possible, and 3) spreading faith.

For example, our Hospitality Committee needs volunteers for setting up tables before meetings, preparing refreshments, clean-up and table take down after meetings, Panera donation pick-up, and welcoming new members. Speak to Lindsay Tomlinson if you’re interested in helping the Fundraising Committee with events such as the Boo Hoo Breakfast, Sunday Morning Soul Café, or bake sales. The Care Team, headed by Cate Rogov, will be bringing meals to moms and families with new babies, illnesses, or other needs. Your efforts have enormous significance to those who receive your food and caring. We also we offer numerous opportunities to work on a variety of service projects to give back to the community.
