As Sojourn’s pastor and HOPE’s associate pastor, Rick’s kind of…busy. You’d think he’d be your classic Type A, but he’s just this guy who knows how to shoot the breeze and then suddenly have an epiphany about Jesus. He leads the Gen X crowd, because he gets their mindset. Because it’s his own. An unabashed blue jeans pastor who doesn’t mince words, makes people laugh and think hard at the same time, whips up wild and do-able ideas, and craves long mission trip bus rides packed with raucous, Jesus-loving teenagers.
