Tomorrow's HOPE, By Heather Mandal, Director of Children's Preschool Ministries

It is hard to believe that it was just about a year ago we began talking about launching a preschool. It has been a wild ride watching God refine our vision and lead our steps. God raised up a fabulous steering team with a passion for our preschool. As enrollment grew and classes took shape, we began the interview process and we were continually praying that God would bring us just the right people. God provided – in abundance! We had more candidates than we could possibly hire and as we conducted the interviews, God led us step-by-step in selecting our aides and teachers. All of our teachers are either state-certified teachers or have their degree in early-childhood development and many of our aides do as well! Not only is the staff immensely qualified, they all have a deep devotion to Christ and an incredible love for children. I feel so blessed to be working with them!
We are currently more than half full, we have filled our three-year-old class and opened another section which is rapidly filling as well. More than half of our families are from our surrounding communities and we want to be a place for them to meet people who care for them and most importantly meet God! I know this is going to be an awesome ministry of HOPE. I know families will join us on Sunday morning to see what we are all about, giving all of us here the opportunity to minister to them! I cannot wait to see what God is going to do.
There are ways you can help! Starting up a preschool is a huge endeavor and in an effort to keep the church’s costs low we are hoping for your support. Susan and Ray Sutton have helped us design our Building Blocks of Hope located in the corner of our worship space. Please visit our display to see which new items you could purchase to help out the preschool. There are items which are easy to pick up at a local store, or some larger items which you can sponsor financially and we will order through the “teacher sources.” We appreciate anything you can offer! But most importantly pray. Pray without ceasing that God will bring those he wants to Tomorrow’s Hope through our doors and that we will minister to them effectively.
