The Vision
20 Ways in 20 Days is a challenge for us to "do good" in the lives of people outside of HOPE Church with whom we interact on a regular basis whether we know them or not. As we celebrate HOPE's 20th anniversary, rather than spend money throwing ourselves a party, we choose to bless the people around us through acts of service both small and large.
The Initiative
For the first 20 days of November leading up to our anniversary Sunday on November 21, we will challenge each member and friend of HOPE to pray, serve and give for the sake of others.

As HOPE Church celebrates its 20th anniversary, we invite everyone to support our exciting, new initiative ...
Here are some specifics for the Pray Challenge ...
Pray intentionally for HOPE church to continue its 20-year mission of finding new ways to be "salt and light" to the community beyond HOPE Church.
Pray for the people who will be touched by the "servant evangelism" efforts of HOPE people.
Pray that God would honor the $20,000 challenge.
Encourage ministry groups you are involved with to pray for this initiative.
Feel free to join the 20/20 Prayer Team at 8am each Sunday in HOPE's Chapel for a brief 15-20-minute prayer time.
Here are some specifics for the Serve Challenge ...
Serve in specific areas of your sphere of influence
Week Three (November 15-21) Join your HOPE family as we serve others in Camden and HOPE's hometown, Voorhees. Suggestions: Saturday, November 20 - Volunteer to help Asbury UMC paint; Sunday, November 21 - Volunteer to rake lawns throughout the community. We'll be meeting at the church at 12:30. BYOR (Bring Your Own Rake)
Go to our 20 Ways in 20 Days Community Facebook page to get some more ideas or to share yours with others.

Give ...
A goal of $20,000 has been set to be given to ministries beyond HOPE Church. These ministries include: United Methodist Missions, Urban Promise, Urban Mission Fellowship and Haitian relief efforts.
Each of us is being asked to put our creative minds to work by organizing a fundraising effort to be held (outside of HOPE) that will help us reach the goal. Be innovative. Here are some ideas to get you thinking:
Perform a free service for donations such as pet sitting or washing cars; Ask your family to forgo some luxuries for a couple of weeks and donate money normall spent; Ask your Facebook friends to donate $1 each; Hold a garage sale with the proceeds donated to the $20,000 challenge.
