We are just ordinary guys who hang out with Jesus. Our ministry
goal is to support each other to make good men better. We
want to be leaders-in our church, home and workplace. Every
man who attends HOPE is a part of this ministry. We would
like to grow this ministry into other small groups which men
would join to match their gifts and interest. Like, we have
a bunch of guys who raise funds to help people in need. We
also have a bunch of guys that are pretty handy with home
repair and maintenance if anyone needs it. The list is endless.
We just have to open our hearts and minds and let GOD direct
us to do His will.

Good Looking Foundation founder and chair, Joe Ciampoli accepts check from Pastor Jeff Bills on behalf of the HOPE's Men's Ministry. Proceeds from the DAY OF HOPE Craft Fair were donated to the group which is running a pilot respite program at HOPE Church for families with children on the autism spectrum.
A Grateful Heart, by John Nettleton
The Men’s group and the Uganda team would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to all the people of HOPE who worked so hard to make last Saturday’s Day of HOPE a huge success! Despite a gloomy weather forecast and a weak economy, answered prayer brought both sunshine and plenty of people to the craft fair portion of the day. We saw a ten percent increase in attendance over our fall craft fair numbers. Remarkable, when you consider fall craft events typically draw more people! For many of our visitors, this was the first time they walked through our doors. We can only hope and pray that the impression they received was enough to bring them back to worship with us. The success from the auction baskets, food concession, and vendors’ fees enables us to make a $2,500 donation to the Good Looking Foundation. This group offers respite to families dealing with children on the autism spectrum and is about to begin their second pilot program here at HOPE on Saturday, April 26th. They are sure to put these much-needed funds to good use.
The concert, featuring the ever-popular Chris Westfall, was also a success enabling the Uganda team to raise over $3,500 for children in the Humble Place Orphanage in Africa.
We want to thank all who participated in any way to both efforts. Whether it was buying crafts or selling concert tickets, donating to the auction items or creating one of the great gift baskets, moving chairs back and forth in the worship space, or putting your baking skills to good use, we appreciate all who helped that day!
Thank you from the Men’s group and the Uganda team!
HATS OFF TO OUR TEAM!
Every July, the HOPE Softball Team heads up to Dresher, PA for a tournament involving seven other teams from Methodist churches. Last Saturday, they made their trek across the Delaware and dominated the day, winning five, losing none and coming home with a shiny plaque. It was a team effort all the way, but special honors goes to Dennis Kessler for pitching every inning! Congratulations team!
