Become a HOPE Member!
H7 is a component-based course that will fit your busy schedule. All classes meet at 9am Sunday morning in HOPE’s Chapel. This next set of classes is offered out of order to better meet our leaders’ calendars. Please know you may take any class in any order to better meet yours.

Discover the principles that make HOPE Church distinct
- April 14 – Session 2
God’s Story of Redemption
An overview of God’s rescue mission from Eden to the Empty Tomb
- April 21 – Session 3
Your Story of Faith and Growth
Discussion of some basic practices of the Christian life–prayer, Scripture reading, surrender
- April 28 – Session 4:
The Story of the Early Church
What is a church? How did the Christian movement begin? Discussion involves a survey of the book of Acts
- May 5 – Session 5:
The Church’s Story Through Time
What happened to Christianity after Bible times? Workshop covers key issues in history and explores what it means to be a Methodist
- May 12 – Session 6
You and HOPE: A Love Story
We believe in connections, with God and others. Discussion will cover the importance of Worship, Service and Community

Our Story: Moving Forward Together

The Gospel of John
John says that Jesus is the incarnate Word of God, bringing grace and truth. The true light which shines in the darkness. Join us as we walk through the Gospel of John and we learn from His parables, strive to follow His examples and rejoice in the implication of His death and resurrection for us.
This group meets Sundays at 9am and is led by Harry Gutelius. they meet in Room 10
Target Audience – All
This group conducts Bible studies and usually meets during the year on the third Sunday evening of each month.
Led by Randy Petersen and hosted by Nona Ostrove in her home in Voorhees on the third Sunday of every month.
Target Audience – Singles
20something is continuing to meet at the Falcones’ house every other Monday evening. They are studying a DVD series on Philip Yancey’s book, What’s So Amazing About Grace. Any post-high school to 20something year olds are welcome to join the group.
This group is hosted by Jackie and Dave Falcone in their home in Pine Hill. They meet every other Monday evening at 7:30pm.
Target Audience – Young men and women post high school to mid-twenties
Small Group for Parents
HOPE’s Family Ministry is hosting a series of parenting classes based on the book by Dr. James Dobson, entitled Essentials of Discipline.
Classes are held each Wednesday evening from 6:30 – 7:30pm at HOPE Church in Room 100.

No Worries Wednesdays
Ever wonder where the Prayer Requests go? “No Worries Wednesday” is when/where/how Prayer Requests are lifted. A prayer team leader facilitates the 30-minute prayer session on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the Fishbowl. All are welcome! Prayer requests may be dropped in the Prayer Box located in the church’s lobby.

Small Groups for Youth
Middle School and High School guys and girls are invited to join in gender specific small groups each Sunday evening from 6 to 8pm. The groups meet at HOPE
Are you, or anyone you know grieving a loss of a loved one? Beginning Tuesday, May 7 from 7 to 8:30pm, a six-week, grief recovery program will be offered at The Meeting Place at 500 Centennial Boulevard. Facilitated by a certified bereavement counselor, Rev. Kathleen B. Morris, this group will have a limited number of participants and a $25 fee to cover costs.
If you are 50 years of age or better, this group is for you! B.A.S.I.C. Play organizes various activities throughout the year.
