Hope’s Youth Ministry has a program for committed students in 7th-12th grade. Our vision is for these to student to be embodying the values of HYM by: welcoming, connecting, and serving others.
These students are committed to growing in their relationship with Christ, as well as serving in Christ’s kingdom. LEAD 101 students are highly involved in making HYM feel like home to all students. Students also participate in different leadership trainings throughout the year, which include a weekend development retreat, monthly training sessions, meeting with an adult mentor.
To be considered for Lead 101, students must complete an online application as well as seek out an adult, non-parent mentor who can help guide students in their spiritual growth as young leaders.
Lead 101 runs January – December of each year. Applications are currently closed.
Interested in applying next year? Start showing us how you can help make HYM feel like home for other students now! That is what we’re looking for come application time.
All students in 9th-12th grade (that have been actively involved in our ministry for the past year) are welcome to complete an application for the program. Students must be currently actively involved Hope’s Youth Ministry to be considered. Students in 7th and 8th grades must be invited to apply to the program by the Lead 101 Team. It is encouraged that all students interested speak to a team member (Ashley Evans, Dave Falcone, or Josh Bills) about applying ahead of time.
