HOPE's Nursery

Our nursery facility is available for both the 9 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services.

For your children' safety, our nusery is divided into two areas: the cradle room for infants and non-walkers and the toddler room for our walkers up through three years old.

Our paid nursery staff is assisted by a rotating staff of dedicated adult volunteers and apprentice teens.

Infant & Non-Walkers

We have a crib available in our cradle room, however you may prefer to bring your infant in his/her carrier. The nursery staff will hold, rock, bottle-feed, and change the children as needed. Please make sure that bottles are pre-mixed or water and powdered formula pre-measured and at the correct temperatures.

Walkers

Children in this area are cared for by our adult volunteers as well as teen apprentices. If your child has a food allergy or special need, please notify the nursery staff. Please refrain from sending food, candy, and especially gum with your child. An age-appropriate snack will be provided.

General Information

Parents should collect their child immediately following the service. The nursery closes for cleaning 15 minutes after the last service.

The nursery is a co-op. We ask that if you have a child who is in the nursery, that you also volunteer to serve at times.

Children may be brought to the nursery only if the parent or guardian will be attending the service. You may not leave the building while your child is in the nursery.

HEALTH POLICIES

We are a nut-free facility!

To protect our little ones, please do not bring anything containing nuts or nut products into the HOPE Nursery.

In order to ensure the safety and health of our children and workers, please refrain from bringing your child to the nursery if he/she has had any of the following symptoms with the past 24 hours: diarrhea, vomiting, fever, rash, open sores, or runny nose. We strive to make the nursery as healthy and safe as possible. Staff members wash and sanitze their hands after every diaper change. Toys and surfaces are sprayed with a safe, sanitzing spray at the end of each session and disinfected regularly. Our staff undergoes periodic CPR and first-aid training. Contact the office at 856.753.7355 with any concerns.
