HOPE Church will host a round table meeting to discuss the role the local church can play in addressing the current opioid epidemic plaguing Camden County.
So far, in 2018, 200 deaths have been attributed to opioid overdose just in our county alone. Compare that number to the 85 county deaths from opioid overdose in 2010, and we can see the growing crisis is taking a staggering toll on communities nationwide.
Join us on Monday, October 1, 7 to 8:30pm, in the chapel at HOPE Church-Voorhees Campus and become a part of this newly formed group that will educate itself on the scope and nature of the problem and look at what next steps might be taken in addressing the issue.
All are welcome! Please bring ideas, experiences or just curiosity to share. RSVP by emailing Pastor Jeff Bills.
