Cohorts are a great place to grow in faith and community.
If you are new to faith, to HOPE, or to small groups — HOPE Cohorts are an excellent place to start.
What is a Cohort?
A cohort is an opportunity to journey with others through a five-week deep dive into topics around our faith — building relationships, and applying God’s Word to everyday life.
At HOPE, we offer five different cohorts you can be a part of. Cohorts are offered on a seasonal rotation.
In every cohort, you can expect the same basic structure. Every week follows the same rhythm — familiar, intentional, and Spirit-led.
The Cohorts
Foundations
Scripture
Ever opened the Bible and not known where to start? This cohort gives you the tools, wisdom, and confidence to read the Bible in a way that adds to your life and not just admire it from a distance.
Financial Literacy
We all desire less stress around money. This cohort helps you build wise, generous habits and explores what God says about stewarding our finances well.
Community
Prayer
Jesus invited people to follow him before they had it all figured out. This cohort helps you learn more about the core beliefs of the Christian faith and answer questions you may have as you work out what you believe and why it matters to your life.Tired of feeling disconnected from the people around you? This cohort helps you move from showing up to belonging — building real relationships with people who'll walk with you through life, not just sit near you on Sundays. Feel unsure how to pray? Jesus modeled prayer as honest, unpolished conversation with God. This cohort helps you untangle your questions and build a prayer life that enriches your relationship to God.

That’s completely normal. Many people join a group for the first time at HOPE. You won’t be put on the spot or expected to have all the answers. You can listen, share when you’re ready, and ease in at your own pace.
-
No. You are always welcome to participate at your comfort level. Some people jump right in, others take time to open up. Both are okay. Small Groups are about creating space where you can be known, not pressured.
-
Some groups offer childcare, and others are family-friendly. Each group is a little different, so we will help you find one that works for your situation.

“I was first introduced to small groups and had an interest due to the loss of my wife in 2021 from Covid and her unexpected passing. I was grieving and the subject was anxiety and faith. I thought that I had tried other support ideas and felt that this was an opportunity to put together my grief and my faith. Since then, it has continued to be a place of great support and community for me.”
