Groups are where, together,
we become like Jesus.
We believe you can’t do life alone and we are better together. Groups exist for care, relationships, spiritual disciplines and growth towards Jesus.
“I keep coming back because the days we meet fill my cup and feels like rest!
As a young person in the church, I felt like I really wanted to feel connected to other women in the same place in life as me, and this was the perfect way to find that community!”
- Olivia S.
“Go for it! Be with people who want to grow and help you grow too.”
“I’m a reserved person, so I completely understand the feeling. However, I think it’s important to be in healthy environments that are about God and community. HOPE has been that for me since I first showed up.”
- Cain J.
“I was first introduced to small groups and had an interest due to the loss of my wife in 2021 from Covid and her unexpected passing. I was grieving and the subject was anxiety and faith. I thought that I had tried other support ideas and felt that this was an opportunity to put together my grief and my faith. Since then, it has continued to be a place of great support and community for me.”
“Exploring my faith intrigued me and I joined, even unsure of the outcome.”
- Richard C.
“If you’re hesitant, it’s understandable. I really recommend just giving it a try. There are so many types of small groups, both in person and online, that there’s something for everyone. We often underestimate the value of taking a small chance and just how profound of an impact it can make.”
“You’ll find grace, compassion, kindness and connection..”
- Shay S.
Groups FAQ’s
-
Small Groups are a place to build real relationships and grow in your faith. Most groups meet weekly or biweekly, share a meal or conversation, and spend time discussing Scripture or the Sunday message. You don’t have to know the Bible well. Just come as you are.
-
There is no perfect group, just a good place to start. You can browse available groups or let us help you find one based on your schedule, stage of life, or interests. The goal is simple: find your people.
-
That’s completely normal. Many people join a group for the first time at HOPE. You won’t be put on the spot or expected to have all the answers. You can listen, share when you’re ready, and ease in at your own pace.
-
No. You are always welcome to participate at your comfort level. Some people jump right in, others take time to open up. Both are okay. Small Groups are about creating space where you can be known, not pressured.
-
Some groups offer childcare, and others are family-friendly. Each group is a little different, so we will help you find one that works for your situation.
